Aglonema Corner Red

Description

Aglaonema ‘Red Angel’ – Narrow Leaf is a beautiful ornamental foliage plant, commonly grown indoors or in shaded tropical areas.

Basic care

• Light: Bright, indirect light. A little gentle morning sun is fine, but avoid harsh afternoon sun.
• Water: Water when the top 2–3 cm of soil feels dry. Don’t keep the pot constantly soggy.
• Soil: Loose, well-draining mix—e.g. cocopeat + perlite + compost.
• Temperature: Ideally 18–32°C; protect from cold drafts.
• Humidity: Moderate to high humidity helps the leaves look their best.
• Fertilizer: A balanced liquid fertilizer at about ½ strength every 4–6 weeks during active growth.
• Propagation: Usually by stem division/cuttings, depending on the plant’s growth form.

For stronger red coloration: Give it brighter indirect light. Too little light can make the foliage greener and reduce the intensity of the red/pink tones.
