Calathea Rattlesnake

• Best in bright indirect light.

Watering

• Keep soil lightly moist, not soggy.
• Water when top 1 inch feels slightly dry.
• Use filtered/rain water if possible; sensitive to salts/chlorine.

Humidity

• Loves high humidity (60%+).
• Kerala humidity suits it well.
• Mist lightly or keep near other plants for extra humidity.

Soil

Use airy moisture-retentive mix:

• cocopeat / peat
• perlite
• compost
• small amount bark

Temperature

• Ideal: 18°C to 30°C
• Protect from cold drafts and sudden temperature swings.

Fertilizer
