Light: Provide bright, indirect light. A little gentle morning sunlight is beneficial, but avoid harsh afternoon sun, which can scorch the leaves.

Watering: Water when the top 2–3 cm of the growing medium feels slightly dry. Keep the soil lightly moist but never waterlogged. Reduce watering during cooler or low-light periods.

Soil: Use a loose, well-draining aroid mix containing coco chips or coco peat, orchid bark, perlite, and a small amount of compost.

Humidity: Monstera Hayi enjoys moderate to high humidity, ideally around 60–80%. Good airflow is important to prevent fungal problems.

Temperature: Maintain 18–30°C. Protect the plant from cold drafts and temperatures below 15°C.

Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced, diluted liquid fertilizer once every 3–4 weeks during active growth. Avoid over-fertilizing.

Support: Provide a moss pole, plank, or other climbing support. It is a shingling Monstera and develops attractive mature foliage when allowed to grow against a suitable vertical surface.

Propagation: It can be propagated through stem cuttings containing at least one healthy node.

Common Problems: Yellow leaves usually indicate overwatering, while curling or crispy leaves can result from insufficient moisture, low humidity, or excessive sunlight.
