The Dendrobium Orchid is a stunning and diverse orchid variety known for its elegant canes and long-lasting blooms. It features slender, upright pseudobulbs (called canes) that hold narrow green leaves. The flowers appear in clusters along the canes, offering a vibrant display in shades of white, purple, yellow, pink, and bi-colour combinations.
Dendrobiums are prized for their ability to adapt to home environments and their impressive flowering cycles, making them a favourite among orchid lovers.

1. Light

• Requires bright, indirect sunlight.
• Avoid harsh midday sun to prevent leaf burn.
• Ideal placement: east-facing or bright south-facing window with filtered light.

2. Watering

• Water when the top layer of the medium becomes slightly dry.
• Reduce watering during winter or resting periods.
• Always use well-draining pots; avoid waterlogging.

3. Humidity

• Prefers 50–70% humidity.
• You can mist lightly or use a humidity tray during dry weather.

4. Temperature

• Thrives in 18–28°C daytime temperatures.
• Night temperatures around 15–18°C help promote flowering.

5. Soil / Potting Mix

• Use a well-draining orchid mix (bark, charcoal, perlite).
• Repot every 2 years or when the potting mix breaks down.

6. Fertilizer

• Feed with a balanced orchid fertilizer (20-20-20) every 2–3 weeks during growth season.
