Adenium Marble Care Guide for Alans Garden

Adenium Marble is usually a variegated form of Adenium obesum (Desert Rose) with marbled cream, yellow, or white patterns on the leaves. Because of the variegation, it needs a little more care than normal green adeniums.

☀️ Light

• Needs 4–6 hours direct sunlight daily for best growth and flowering.
• Morning sun is ideal in Kerala climate.
• Too little light = weak growth, faded variegation.

💧 Watering

• Water deeply, then allow soil to dry almost completely before watering again.

• 40% cactus mix

• Protect below 15°C
• Loves heat and airflow.

• Feed every 2 weeks during active growth with balanced liquid fertilizer at half strength.

• Prune lightly after flowering to shape plant and encourage branching.
• Wear gloves—sap can irritate skin.

⚠️ Special Care for Marble/Variegated Type

• Grows slower than green adeniums.

• Remove fully green shoots if they dominate.

🐛 Common Problems

• Yellow leaves = overwatering or seasonal leaf drop
• Soft trunk = rot
• No flowers = low sun
