Description

Light

• Best in bright indirect light.
• Can tolerate medium light.
• Avoid direct sunlight, which can burn leaves.

Watering

• Keep soil slightly moist, never soggy.
• Water when the top inch of soil feels dry.
• Use filtered, rain, or RO water if possible.

Humidity

• Prefers high humidity (60%+).
• Suitable for Kerala climate.
• Good airflow helps keep leaves healthy.

Soil

Use a loose, rich, well-draining mix:

• cocopeat / peat
• perlite
• compost
• little orchid bark

Temperature

• Ideal range: 18°C to 30°C
• Avoid temperatures below 15°C.

Fertilizer

• Feed once a month with half-strength balanced fertilizer during growing season.

Pot & Placement

• Best indoors near a bright window with curtain light.
• Also good on desks, shelves, or shaded verandas.

Common Problems

• Brown leaf edges = low humidity / poor water quality
• Yellow leaves = overwatering
• Leaf curling = dry soil or stress
• Faded color = insufficient light

Repotting

• Repot every 1–2 years when rootbound.

Propagation

• Divide mature clumps during repotting.
