Description

Light

• Best in bright indirect light.

Watering

• Keep soil slightly moist, never soggy.
• Water when top 1 inch begins to dry.
• Use filtered, RO, or rain water if possible.

Humidity

• Loves high humidity (60–80%).
• Kerala humidity is helpful.
• Extra airflow prevents fungal issues.

Soil

Use airy moisture-retentive mix:

• cocopeat / peat
• perlite
• compost
• orchid bark

Temperature

• Ideal: 18°C to 30°C
• Avoid cold drafts and sudden changes.

Fertilizer

• Feed monthly with half-strength balanced fertilizer during active growth.

Pot & Placement

• Best indoors near bright window with curtain light, shaded balcony, or covered veranda.

Common Problems

• Brown crispy edges = low humidity / poor water quality
• Yellowing leaves = overwatering
• Curling leaves = dry soil or stress
• Faded variegation = low light

Repotting
