Description

Light

• Best in bright indirect light.
• Gentle morning sun is fine.
• Avoid harsh afternoon sun, which can scorch stems.

Watering

• Water when the top 1–2 inches of mix feels dry.
• Keep lightly moist during active growth.
• Reduce watering in cooler or rainy periods.
• Never keep soil soggy.

Humidity

• Prefers moderate to high humidity.
• Kerala climate is suitable.
• Good airflow helps prevent rot.

Soil

Use a chunky, fast-draining epiphytic mix:

• cocopeat / peat
• orchid bark
• perlite
• compost
• little charcoal (optional)

Temperature

• Ideal: 18°C to 32°C
• Protect from cold below 12°C.

Fertilizer

• Feed monthly with diluted balanced fertilizer during growing season.
• Use bloom booster before flowering season if desired.

Pot & Placement

• Best in hanging baskets or shallow pots where stems can trail.

Pruning

• Trim damaged or overlong stems to shape the plant.

Propagation

• Very easy from stem cuttings. Let cut end dry for 1 day, then plant in moist mix.

Flowering Tips

• Give bright filtered light.
• Slightly cooler nights and mild drying between watering can encourage blooms.
• Avoid moving plant once buds form.

Common Problems

• Soft stems = overwatering / rot
• Wrinkled stems = underwatering
