Plant: Capsicum frutescens (Kanthari chilli – popular in Kerala)

Light:
Grow in full sunlight. Provide 6–8 hours of direct sun daily for strong growth and better fruiting.

Water:
Keep the soil moderately moist. Water regularly but avoid waterlogging.

Soil:
Use well-draining, fertile soil mixed with compost or organic manure.

Temperature:
Kanthari chilli grows best in warm temperatures (20–35°C) and thrives in tropical climates.

Fertilizer:
Apply vermicompost or organic fertilizer every 2–3 weeks to support flowering and fruit production.

Spacing:
Maintain about 30–45 cm spacing between plants for healthy growth.

Pests:
Watch for aphids, whiteflies, and mites. Spray neem oil weekly to control pests.

Harvest:
