Succulent Plant Care Guide

Succulents are low-maintenance plants known for their thick, water-storing leaves and unique shapes. They thrive with minimal care, making them an excellent choice for homes, offices, and balconies.

Light

Place your succulent in a bright location with 4–6 hours of indirect to direct sunlight daily. Morning sunlight is ideal, while harsh afternoon sun may scorch some varieties.

Water

Water thoroughly only when the soil has completely dried out. Avoid overwatering, as excess moisture can lead to root rot. Reduce watering during cooler months.

Soil

Use a well-draining cactus or succulent potting mix. Ensure the pot has drainage holes to prevent water from collecting around the roots.

Temperature

Succulents grow best in temperatures between 18°C and 30°C. Protect them from frost and prolonged exposure to heavy rain.

Humidity

These plants prefer low humidity and good air circulation. High humidity can increase the risk of fungal diseases.

Fertilizer

Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer or a cactus fertilizer diluted to half strength once every 4–6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). Avoid fertilizing during winter dormancy.
