Light: Bright, indirect light is ideal. A little gentle morning sunlight can help maintain the beautiful variegation, but avoid harsh afternoon sun.

Watering: Water only when the soil is mostly dry. Water thoroughly until excess drains from the bottom, then empty the drainage tray. Avoid overwatering.

Soil: Use a well-draining, airy mix such as cocopeat + perlite + compost or a good-quality indoor potting mix.

Humidity: Normal household humidity is usually sufficient. Moderate humidity helps the plant grow well.

Temperature: Keep between 18–30°C and protect from cold drafts and sudden temperature changes.

Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced, diluted NPK fertilizer once every 4–6 weeks during active growth. Reduce feeding during slow growth periods.

Pruning: Remove yellow or damaged leaves with clean scissors. Rotate the pot occasionally for balanced growth.

Important: Variegated ZZ plants generally grow slower than green ZZ plants because their leaves contain less chlorophyll. Avoid keeping the soil constantly wet, as this can cause root and rhizome rot.
